Refunds and cancellations
Rules for deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds on career guidance sessions.
Eligibility
Fees paid for Career Guidance Consultations, Application Package Reviews, Interview Preparation sessions, and Labour Market Orientation Briefings may be refunded according to the conditions below. This policy applies only to services we actually offer; it does not cover products, shipping, or digital subscriptions.
Cancellation timeframe
Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the confirmed session start time for a full refund of fees paid for that session (or a free reschedule to a new mutually agreed slot).
Partial refunds
Cancellations between 48 and 24 hours before the session may receive a 50% refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or failure to attend (no-show), are not refundable.
Work already started
If we have already completed a pre-session document review or begun drafting a written action plan after the meeting, fees for completed work are non-refundable. Unused future sessions in a multi-session arrangement may still qualify under the timelines above.
Deposits
Deposits requested for in-person appointments in Haag are credited toward the session fee. Deposits follow the same cancellation schedule as the full fee.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once at no charge when notice is given at least 48 hours ahead. Further reschedules may be treated as cancellations at our discretion if they disrupt preparation already completed.
Refund process and timing
Email info@smartcommstech.digital with your name, session date, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within fourteen business days where the payment provider allows.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs you incur independently (certified translations, travel to Haag, notary fees) are never refunded by us. Written materials already delivered to you remain yours; their preparation fee is not returned after delivery.
Exceptions
If we cancel a session, you may choose a full refund or a replacement appointment. Documented emergencies may be considered case by case.
